Description

Seagull Elite Ltd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operation Coordinator to oversee the operational activities of our plastic waste recycling facility. The Operation Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree / Hnd in any field
  • Previous experience in operations coordination or management, preferably within the recycling or waste management industry will be an add advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with operational software systems.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices in waste management and recycling is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations Management: Coordinate and oversee the operational activities of the plastic waste recycling facility, including material intake, sorting, processing, and distribution.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the recycling operations, and implement solutions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that recycled plastic products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and visitors, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including management and production teams, and provide regular reports on operational performance, key metrics, and KPIs.
