Qualifications
- Registered Community Nurse (RCN) or Registered Community Midwife (RCM) with current licensure
- Experience in community health nursing/midwifery (or related field)
- Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Must resident in Ibadan
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and digital health technologies
- Knowledge of community resources and partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for patients
- Provide nursing/midwifery care in various settings, including clinics, and community
- Conduct health assessments, screenings, and diagnostic tests
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations
- Educate patients and families on healthy habits, disease prevention, and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, social workers, and therapists
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient data and progress notes
- Participate in community outreach and health promotion initiatives
