Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Product Designer to join our dynamic team at Youverify.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, a strong sense of user-centric design, and the ability to transform complex ideas into intuitive and engaging products.

The ability to create designs that have an emotional connection with users, understand user needs and desires, and craft a compelling story around the product is a key differentiator.

As a Product Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver innovative products that meet both user needs and business goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, computer science, engineering or a related field or a professional certification/training in a design-related field or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in product design, with a portfolio showcasing successful design projects that have gone from concept to production. At least 1 year of leadership experience managing a minimum of 2 persons.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Experience with embedding micro-interactions in designs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Concept Development: Generate innovative design concepts and translate them into feasible product designs through sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs, preferences, and pain points. Analyze feedback and data to inform design decisions.
  • Design Execution: Create detailed design specifications, for product features, ensuring alignment with user experience principles and brand guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and align with project goals. Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews.
  • Prototyping: Develop interactive prototypes to test design concepts and iterate based on user feedback and technical constraints.
  • Design Systems: Own the development and maintenance of a consistent design language and system across all products.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies, and integrate relevant innovations into the design process.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the engineering team during the development phase to ensure the final product meets design specifications and quality standards.
